I used the small halter on my Holstein feeder calf. He was 435 pounds at the time and it fit him perfectly other than the fact that the chain was wayyyy too long for a calf of that size. I ordered a large one for my 1400 pound angus but it was too small so I had to return it. So id recommend this product for a smaller calf.

I am very pleased with this halter/lead. My grandson used it with his calf in the livestock show. It worked well even when the calf didn't want to cooperate and it is well made, looks great, and feels durable.
