The Lord Of The Rings Instrumental Solos: Flute: Level 2-3

A really good idea to add an app to accompany any soloist learning to play this music. I bought it for my son who is a beginner entering a more intermediate level of skill. He loves that he can play along with the recording. It inspires him to learn more all the time, hear where he's playing correctly and when he's struggling with certain areas. Would definitely recommend.

Came quickly however it is a little difficult to play the songs. It was in amazing condition when it arrived.

I very rarely write reviews anymore, but I loved this compilation so much, I have to share my review. If you love LotR and you love playing the flute, this book is a must-have. I consider myself a fairly advanced player (I played through college) but I hadn't been able to play in years due to living in an apartment and not wanting to annoy people with my high F#. Now that I live in a house, I can play as much as I want. I really like this compilation because it comes with a follow-along CD, which is very helpful when trying to work out tricky patterns. It's also nice for people like me who really miss the feeling of playing with a full band. The arrangements are pretty true to the originals - most pieces have been shortened and simplified a bit, but in a way that benefits the flute player. There are only a few songs with lengthy resting spots. Otherwise, you're the star! Some of my favorite LotR tracks are not in this book, but that's because they feature the brass section. For a beginning player, there's plenty of songs that are fun to play but easy enough to piece out. For advanced players, there are some challenging sections but these songs are mostly for pure enjoyment - no crazy key changes or time signatures. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and can't wait to get more song books from this publisher!

Je conseille vraiment ces partitions à toutes les personnes fan du Seigneur des Anneaux, le CD est vraiment très utile pour avoir un aperçu de la partie que l'on doit jouer, que ça soit pour la vitesse, les rythmes ...

Nachdem ich im Internet nur sehr schwer fündig geworden bin mit guten und vor allem korrekten Noten habe ich mich jetzt für dieses Buch entschieden. Eigentlich spiele ich Okarina und nicht Querflöte, aber leider gibt es dafür so gut wie keine anständigen Notenbücher. Die Reichweite der Querflöte erreiche ich mit meiner großen Okarina ohne Probleme.Die Stücke sind teils nicht ganz einfach, aber trotzdem sehr gut spielbar. Wenn es mal an einer Stelle hapert fand ich die Demos auf der Begleit-CD sehr hilfreich um ein wenig Gefühl dafür zu bekommen wie es klingen soll. Bevor man sich von der CD begleiten lassen kann bedarf es allerdings einiger Übung um die Geschwindigkeit mithalten zu können. Da finde ich es hilfreich nach mehrfachen Üben zuerst mit der Demo gemeinsam zu spielen und erst später mit den Playalong Tracks.Aber insgesamt ein sehr schönes Buch mit einer sehr guten CD. Wäre nur schöner wenn noch mehr Lieder drin wären wie zB der Einmarsch der Elben in Helms Klam oÄ.

Je suis très contente de cet achat. Certes, le niveau est facile mais c'est avec plaisir que l'on joue tous les morceaux. L'enregistrement avec flûte permet d'écouter le morceau et de bien le comprendre pour se lancer avec l'accompagnement.Jouer avec tout un orchestre donne plus de profondeur et de beauté à cette musique, on s'y croit et on prend davantage plaisir à jouer cette mélodie.Le prix étant accessible, je recommande donc fortement cette partition pour tous les fans du seigneur des anneaux !

Bonne état et la description des partitions qu'il y avait dedans est correct...Les partitions valent le couprien d'autre à dire ^^
