Great paper can withhold a lot. Doesn't peel off if you use too many layers. This is my fifth that I bought and will continue to buy. It's a bit expensive but it's worth it. It's smooth paper, but has a slight texture but it doesn't bother me.

The pages are thick and fold nicely flat. I used this book for an art class. Equally as useful for sketches in graphite as for color studies using acrylic paints. No buckling or show-through.An excellent purchase, well worth the money!

This good sized sketchbook with strong dense paper is perfect for using with mixed media . I have started an art journal in it.It is the best journal I have found for this purpose and rate it highly
