I'm very happy with this rosette arm, which is built like a tank. It locks in rock-solid both onto the HawkLock mounting points, and as an arm. It can also potentially double as a half-decent top handle.And it's solidly good value relative to generic NATO arms, considering it comes with two rails. The rails work with other NATO-clamp based accessories, but the arm's HawkLock clamps only work with the HawkLock rails and not generic rails.I also have the ball arm, which is easier to reconfigure, but rather short. This 7" rosette arm is just the right size for my needs when the ball arm isn't cutting it.

Der Magic Arm ist insbesondere gut, wenn man bereits andere Produkte im Hawklock H21 System hat, kann mit den inbegriffen Schnellwechselplatten aber auch so genutzt werden. Die Stärke des Systems läge aber darin, schnell und einfach zwischen Zubehörteilen wechseln zu können und ein Kamera Rig unkompliziert zu erweitern. Es kann den Zusammenbau massiv beschleunigen und ist angenehm zu verwenden. Ich habe mir daraufhin bereits weitere Teile bestellt, die H21 Platten nutzen, wobei es auch bspw. NATO Rails mit der entsprechenden Rasterung gibt, die in dem Fall die Zentrierung und genaue Positionierung in meheren Stellungen ermöglicht. Sehr durchdacht und überaus praktisch!

Opening the box is like unwrapping precision engineering. This Smaller magic arm is very well made and solid. The serrations around the joint between the two sections keeps the arm in shape, and slightly loosening the locking nut frees up both of the ends of the arm for repositioning a light or external display.I really like the engineering in the mooning plates. They have almost all the options covered as the two locking pins either side of the 1/4-20 screw are removable using the supplied allen keys. The ball heads are slightly rough to make them easier to lock in place and it works. This arm can really hold the stated 3.5Kg with ease.This would be ideal to mount your lights or monitor to a camera that is fitted with a camera cage. Smallrig does a range of cages to suit most cameras, though other bands also can be used.

Mam te urządzenia od 2 godzin. Muszę się z nimi dobrze zapoznać w praktycznym działaniu, ale już teraz wiem, że to przydatne urządzenia i jak zwykle u SmallRig-a bardzo dobrze wykonane. Polecam z pełnym przekonaniem.

An excellent bit of kit that allows many different mounting options. The ball joints are secure without needing to turn the thumbscrews too tightly. The machining and finish of the mount is excellent.
