J'adore le ton et ce qu'il envoie.Je l'utilise avec un ampli à lampes haut gain et il est monté en chevalet sur une Jackson MIJ des 90's.Comparé à un Dimarzio X2N, il n'y a pas photo, ce micro est plus chaleureux avec plus d'harmonique et un super grain. Parfait pour faire du gros metal, mais manque de polyvalence.

I got this pickup to recreate the Tom Delonge strat (yes, his guitar has the neck Invader SH-8n in the bridge position). It sounds great all on its own with only a volume knob and nothing else.My only problem was the shipping. It arrived in rough condition; I don’t know why they would ship it in a plastic bag! I hope that if you buy this pickup, you won’t have the same problem as I did. The pickup was protected well by the plastic case and only suffered some aesthetic issues, so I’m keeping it.

Llegaron rápido, el único detalle es que el embalaje no es el correcto, me llegaron con la caja destrozada, solo vienen en un sobre con muy poca protección, deberían poner mas atención en eso, me parece que ya hubo un caso así anteriormente.

..e niente.. garanzia Seymour Duncan, come da aspettative.. è un mostro.Esce direttamente Satana dall' amplificatore.L'ho messo al ponte su una Gibson Les Paul custom, collegato ad una testata Mesa-boogie dual rectifire del 93, la migliore delle varie serie, quindi si ok..la base era già potentissima, ma ora alla prima nota ti arriva proprio un pugno in faccia.Un suono grintoso e potentissimo ma allo stesso tempo caldo, preciso ed estremamente definito.La ritmica è di una potenza che fa paura, lo stoppato sembra un martello pneumatico e gli assoli escono di volume senza bisogno di boost o pedali aggiuntivi.Ho dovuto togliere un po' di gain e di bassi perché facendo hardcore-punk alla vecchia, tenendoli al livello di prima il suono sconfinava quasi nel grund-core.In realtà, calibrando una buona equalizzazione sull' amplificatore e abbassando molto il gain ci si può suonare benissimo anche del rock classico ma avendo una presenza massiccia che esce dal mix in maniera armoniosa.Il pulito beh..diciamo che non è completamente pulito. Anche al minimo è comunque abbastanza saturo (almeno su una Mesa-boogie.. magari su un altro ampli è più gestibile) ma chi compra un pickup come questo generalmente è perché vuole tutt'altro che un suono pulito. Questo perché l'ho cablato full humbucker, probabilmente splittando le due bobine si può ottenere un suono più docile, ma non era quello che cercavo. Io cercavo una bestia e con sto pickup di bestie ne è arrivata una mandria intera. Madonna che sberla in faccia.. ho appena spento l'ampli e sono ancora gasato.Se vuoi la viullenza pura vai tranquillo, è questo il pickup che ti serve

Un excellent micro, je l ai monté en manche, il résonne beaucoup, trop pour du solo, à voir en Split, j'ai pas encore testé.Je l'ai couplé à un sh4 en chevalet, le résultat est magnifique, ça freine les hardeur du sh8 et sublime le sh4Le sh8 pourrait bien réservé des bonnes surprises et montrer tout son potentiel universel avec un électronique en Split et le montre déjà avec un autre micro totalement différent (le sh4)

Super micro passif. Un son incroyable.

J'avais commandé le modèle chevalet en version "d'occasion comme neuf"; j'ai reçu le modèle "neck". En soi ce n'est pas plus mal; du coup j'ai recommandé, également en version "reconditionnée", un "bridge", histoire d'avoir de quoi remplacer à prix avantageux 2 micros d'origine de ma guitare. Mais si Amazon n'est pas capable de vérifier précisément quel modèle lui est retourné ("neck" ou "bridge") je m'inquiète de savoir si le modèle vendu comme "reconditionné" est bien un modèle made in USA vendu à l'origine par Amazon et retourné par un précédent client honnête, ou un modèle made in China retourné à Amazon par un client indélicat en lieu et place du made in USA; à ma connaissance la différence est visuellement indétectable. Il faudrait qu'Amazon garantisse que même les articles vendus comme "retournés/reconditionnés" sont authentiques.

Micro Humbucker Seymour Duncan SH-8N Invader position manche pour guitare Fender Stratocaster au prix vraiment intéressant défiant toute concurance. Bravo.

I got this to put into a Squier Bullet Strat which I was modding into something similar to Tom Delonge's signature Strat. In white with black allen bolts the Invader pickup certainly looks the part (see picture), and the included wiring instructions were nice and clear too. Better still, on the Seymour Duncan website you can input your intended set-up (in my case one humbucker pickup and one pot) and it will give you a clear wiring diagram for that particular set-up. Most impressed.Installation was easy, although I was surprised by how thin the wires were, and as such a delicate hand is needed to strip them prior to soldering.With everything in place and the guitar plugged in the Invader SH-8b certainly does not lack power or aggression, making it ideal for punk, grunge and metal. Given it's high output it's pretty easy to drive my little Blackstar HT1-R amp into a crunchy break-up without the needing to press the overdrive button, and harmonic squeals were all too easy. Unsurprisingly it's not great at clean tones, so if you're after an all rounder you will probably want to look elsewhere in Seymour Duncan product range.The Invader is very much an 'all guns blazing' type of pickup and certainly in my minimalist Strat a bit of a one trick pony - but what a trick!
