Anyone who works in audio/video, broadcast, content, streaming, etc.. and has to mess with lights, cameras, microphones, etc.. are very familiar with the smaller versions of these for use in studio.DEFINITELY recommend if you're looking for that, but substantially more "BEEFY" in both size and capacity, then this is the perfect "magic arm" or dual ball swivel, etc..

the adjustable pole clamp is fantastic. It's super easy to attach to my RV ladder, and it stays put no matter the conditions. I have several of these "magic" clamps for mounting security and wildlife trail cameras. This one is similarly made and seems like it will stand up well to outdoor weather. I'm taking a star off the overall rating because the balls in the clamp sockets are smooth, instead of dimpled (like golf balls). I think the dimpled version (I have several) allows them to hold position better when tightened down.

Starlink mini is as portable as it gets in mobile sat internet systems. The included mount though is basically a kickstand. If you don't want to sit it on the ground, you need a mount. This is a good small but versatile mount that is easy to carry with you. It works great on a rail or ladder rack. It fits perfectly on the upper part of my RV ladder allowing better LOS to the sky and keeping it further away from getting stomped on or nicked by someone. It is all metal and is very similar to mounts I have used to secure aircraft avionics. It is quick to mount and easy to store in your travel bag. The aluminum puck that attaches to your mini's pole adapter is threaded and can also be used to mount the mini on a standard photography style tripod if you have one. When I tighten it down on the ladder rail, it is very stable and it holds the mini in position even in stiff winds. If you tighten it down, it isn't going anywhere. The two ball joints give quite a range of adjustment also. If you don't have room to bring a tripod, or you just need something quick and easy, this is it. I prefer this on the RV over a tripod for previous stated reasons. The all metal construction is superior to others I have seen that are mostly plastic and should last for awhile.
