I have a FS 250 with a crap ton of hours on the motor and always seemed to be babying it to keep it running well. Got this to see if it would make an improvement. And it did. Seems to be back to near original performance. The quality of the kit was good and I don't have a lot of experience doing jobs like this but some of the parts seemed to be lacking in final prep. Rough surfaces but none of the critical surfaces had issues. One of the gaskets had a good fold in it so had to flatten that out before I used it.Cell phones are great as you can take pics and videos as you disassemble as opposed to when i first rebuilt a carb in 1990 and had to make lots of notes on paper. lolCaught a few mistakes before I got too far and it all ended up going together well. Took a bit to get it dialed in but after about 5 hrs of use it seemed to have broken in well and runs very well. A fun project that keeps me from dropping big bucks for a new trimmer.
