Bought this poker as a feature for fireplace so will not actually be using it for hot coals , but it would be up to the job very sturdy and good value for money

Rarely am I genuinely surprised by an Amazon seller or product but I was with this. We didn't want a companion set but needed a decent poker for our wood burning stove. This is the right size and length for our 5kW stove and sits nicely on the logs in the basket. This way the hearth can be kept clean and uncluttered.Ultra fast delivery, solid, well made item and excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

This to me is true value for money, it has a convenient hook to move the logs around, has a good weight, with a handy hook to hang it up. It also looks good in its smooth matt finish and is good and sturdy, what more can one ask.
