I was searching online on a good beginner kit for me to test out, and this is where I landed. I found that the kit had easy to understand instructions as nice to watch videos. I also enjoyed that the kit included a variety of wires, resistors and gadgets. I am thoroughly happy with my purchase.

Its a lot of fun, good way to learn more about Raspberry GPIO and Python. If you have newer version of PI OS you need to use tutorial file named: Tutorial_GPIOZero.pdfSome instruction and images needs to be updated, there are some instructions that are not 100% correct but still manageable and easy to use.

Tous les composants sont là ! Ça fait maintenant 3 mois que je l'utilise avec ma Raspberry Pi 4, les tutos étaient vraiment bien et complet. Je peux enfin commencer des petits projets persos.Seul mini bémol, la boîte de rangement, une fois tout sortie impossible de remettre tout dedans. Je conseil de trouver une autre boîte pour tout ce qui est câblage et résistances.

J étais passionné par l électronique et la programmation depuis petit mais avant cela coûté très très cher et il fallait aussi trouver qui ( quand j avit 10 ans) qui m apprendrez a programmé et depuis que j' ai acheté ce kit et plein d autre truc du genre c est carrément une drogue les possibilités avec toi les autre microcontrôleur sur le marché esp 32 ,esp32 sim tout ces capteur pas cher on peut faire de vraie projet concret je recommande même au enfant car grâce à internet on peut tout apprendre gratuitement après bien sûr pour aller plus loin il faudra mettre la main au porte feuille selon ses idées bref bon kit de démarrage pour les grand et les petit je recommande a cent pour cent

Je poste ce commentaire après qq semaines d utilisations.Livraison impeccable. Le kit arrive, il est bourré d électronique. Ça fait envie !Une doc ( pdf , env 300 pages) est bien fait et accompagne très bien l utilisateur. Attention, c est en anglais... mais pour des sujets un peu technique c est souvent le cas.J en suis à la 9 ieme expérimentation sur env une trentaine.C est assez passionnant et on a envie de passer à la prochaine expé car on apprend des trucs différents et complémentaires à chaque fois. Chaque expe pousse les connaissances un peu plus loin et capitalise sur les précédentes. On progresse clairement.Je voulais pouvoir manipuler et comprendre le fonctionnement des port entrés et sorties du raspberry. C est parfait avec ce kit que je recommande.Des notions d électricité et de programmation me semblent quand même un prerequis, sinon c a fait beaucoup à avaler d un coup.J en ai profité pour me mettre au langage python ( le kit permet aussi de suivre et programmer en Langage c). Si vous avez envie de comprendre, de le faire avec des exemples concrets et parlant, ce kit est très bien fait.Assez rapidement j ai acheté en complément : une grosse loupe (12€) pour bien lire les codages de résistance :-) , et une petite lampe de bureau usb avec pince ( 19€) pour bien éclairer la partie électronique... et une boîte de rangement pour les composants électroniques ( 10€) car une fois que vous aurez commencé à sortir des composants ... vous n arriverez pas à les faire re rentrer et fermer la boîte !enfin un livre sur python pour progresser en parallèle sur ce language nouveau pour moi.Je vous souhaite d avoir le même plaisir que j ai actuellement à apprendre avec ce kit.

I've been meaning to get acquainted with the raspberry pi, but never found the time. Furlough happens, so I bought this starter kit to go along with a newly purchased LABISTS Raspberry Pi 4 B Model B. The main things I like about the kit are:1. All parts accounted present.2. Great instructional PDF, with instructions written in clear, simple English.3. Good descriptions of working principles.4. Beautifully clear circuit diagrams with a simple picture diagram of how it should physically look as well.During the set up of a couple of circuits, I encountered some issues so emailed their support team and I was fortunate enough to deal with Denzel, who is prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable enough to solve the issues raised (a simple coding error and wrong piece used on my part). Denzel is definitely an asset to the Freenove team.All the accompanying code is available and easy to download. So far I've probably completed about 70% of the projects and no errors with any of the code.I have encountered an issue with the breadboard power module, which looks to be faulty. Electronics are not perfect, so these things happen. I emailed Denzel, and after checking the leads for faults, he is going to send out a replacement. No hassle, no fuss.I've spent quite a few fun hours simply completing the projects. Once done I plan to revisit them to get a more thorough understanding of the actual electronics, then start creating some more complex systems by combining different project components.If you have a raspberry pi and would like to see just how versatile it it, I would definitely recommend this ultimate starter pack.

Il kit è molto completo, con istruzioni chiare per la configurazione iniziale della Raspberry, ed una buona serie di esperimenti da effettuare. Risulta particolarmente indicato per insegnare ai bambini (11 anni, nel mio caso) i fondamenti dell'elettronica e della programmazione, essendo disponibili i sorgenti in Python, Java e CIl passo successivo sarà naturalmente l'automobile con Raspberry a bordo e programmabile, ma è importante iniziare dai fondamentali!L'imballo è molto curato, l'unico (piccolissimo) neo è che i componenti sono incastrati con tanta precisione che è impossibile rimettere tutto nella scatola dopo averla aperta! Nessun problema, per i connettori basta una qualsiasi altra scatola e teniamo la confezione originale per i componenti elettronici.Altra nota a favore: ho avuto un dubbio relativo alla composizione dei circuiti (se si possono fare con la Raspberry accesa o se c'e' il rischio di sovratensioni), ho scritto all'assistenza, come suggerito nel manuale, che mi ha risposto in poche ore (per la cronaca la risposta è "yes", basta stare attenti a non creare cortocircuiti e si puo' lavorare anche con la Raspberry accesa)Un suggerimento per chi già programma: se usate una pi4 con 4gb o più conviene perdere un'oretta ed installare un ambiente di sviluppo completo (come pyCharm, che è gratuito nella versione base) invece di usare gli editor preinstallati in Raspbian. La programmazione sarà infinitamente piu produttiva!

I don't normally write reviews however I wanted to let everyone know about the experience I've had with this Ultimate Starter Kit for learning about how to do electrical engineering tasks with the Raspberry Pi. I'll break it down into several areas: Overall kit, Easy of Use, and Support Experience.The overall kit is a treasure trove of jumpers, motors, resistors, infrared sensor, digital display and a lot more. I've never seen so many items packed into a single kit and at such a great price point. If you want to see what you can do with the kit I highly suggest going to Freenove's website and see about downloading the PDF of the tutorial. Really see what you can do with this kit. Everything seen in the kit fits nicely in the supplied container. The container itself is multi-functional. It can be subdivided into 6 compartments with the supplied plastic dividers in case you want to separate your resistors from your capacitors. So even if you graduate to a larger container you can still use this one for other supplies. This is the only time I've actually been able to put everything back in a container after unpacking.The easy of use of the Ultimate Starter Kit cannot be overstated. The 400+ page tutorial manual is great. It steps you through how to build circuits from simple LED lighting to more complex items. The English in some areas is a little hard to understand but they are able to get their point across. All the technical information is spot on. I've gone from having no understanding of resistors and reading circuit diagrams to being able to put together a circuit by its diagram alone within the tutorials in less then a few days.Now we come to Freenove's customer support. You can really tell how a company cares about their product by the customer support experience. I am currently a manager of a support organization and know how support can make or break a customer's experience. I contacted Freenove's customer support when I couldn't get a tutorial circuit to work as expected, it was the Thermistor tutorial if you are interested. No matter what I did I just couldn't get it to function as designed. I took some pictures of the circuit on the breadboard and emailed them to support. I asked if they had any ideas that would tell me why it wasn't working. I wasn't expecting a response for a few days and would be surprised if they could actually figure out what I had done from the pictures. So you can imagine my shock when I checked my email the next day and I had a response. Based off my pictures they could tell I had used a capacitor instead of the thermistor. If you've never seen these components let me just say they are small, really small. The fact that they were able to see them at all really surprised me. So not only are they there if you have questions or issues with components, they are there to help you through the tutorials that they provide for the kit.Overall a really great experience with Freenove and I would certainly purchase again. I highly suggest picking up the kit if you are new to Raspberry PI and want to get into building circuits and learning what it can do. Excellent job all around.

Ce kit "débutant" pour Raspberry Pi est très complet.Plus de 200 composants divers et variés bien rangés dans une boite, et un guide très complet pour débuter avec le Raspberry Pi disponible en suivant le lien présent dans la description de produit.Les possibilités de ce kit sont très variées, il suffit de bien suivre le guide en pdf (de 25 Mo). Tout y est bien détaillé, avec des schémas complets, des explications sur les composants, et des exemples de lignes de code.Le Raspberry Pi n'est pas inclus dans ce kit. Le modèle conseillé est le Raspberry Pi 3 Modèle B.Bon, ben il n'y a plus qu'à s'y mettre !

La connexion dans la breadboad est instable, mauvais contacts, pas assez de pression pour les câbles. J'ai perdu énormément de temps dans mon développement à cause de cela.Boîte de rangement pratique, nombreux composants pour s'amuser. Les guides à télécharger permettent d'expérimenter en C ou en Python.
