Habe damit erfolgreich mein altes MacBook Pro per Thunderbolt 2 mit einem LG gram +View 16MR70 (externer Monitor) verbunden. Dazu braucht es aber noch ein USB-C Kabel und ein Netzteil für die Stromversorgung. Zusätzlich wird noch ein einfacher DisplayPort (f) auf Mini-DisplayPort Adapter (m) benötigt.

デスクトップPCの DisplayPort から、中国製のモバイル液晶ディスプレイ4K UHD+ (3840 x 2400) に出力するために使用しました。問題なく出力できています。モバイルモニター側の設定表示を信じる限りは、 4K UHD+ (3840 x 2400) 60Hz で動作しているようです。モバイルディスプレイ側は、別途、別のType-C ケーブルを使用して電源供給をしてあげる必要がありました。当初、解像度が4Kのディスプレイを購入したと勘違いしており、4K (3840×2160)への変換対応をうたったアダプターを購入したのですが、それではディスプレイの両端に余白が出来たため、8K対応をうたったこのケーブルにたどり着きました。私の環境で使用した製品は以下になります。デスクトップ側カード(DisplayPort出力) : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5モバイルモニター (Type-C入力): Intehill 4k 13.4 インチ IGZOスクリーン 黄金比16:10、3840x2400

Tried using this from my Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super to a portable screen that runs off of USB-C DP Alt mode but this cable didn't supply power from the graphics card to the screen.

If you are looking to connect your USB-C laptop to your DisplayPort monitor, then there are cheaper and just as good options available.However if like me you want to connect your DisplayPort computer to your USB-C monitor, then this is the cable for you! It is pricey but these are really niche currently and I’ve seen some retailing around £50!!!This cable is bi-directional meaning that the video signal can go either way (Almost all cables are designed only to send the signal from USB-C to DisplayPort, not the other way round).I’m using it to run my PC desktop on an LG 4K monitor which is specially designed for a MacBook. It works brilliantly!
