After continually borrowing my wife's chalk bag I decided it's time to get my own. A lot of our equipment is from Black Diamond and we have had no complaints so far. We do mostly indoor top rope and some bouldering with hopes to try some outdoor top rope this year. I ordered the M/L bag because my hands are a little too big for the smaller one causing my hand to kinda get caught up in the bag when chalking up. This does not come with a sock but that's not a problem as I'm going to try it without for now. There is a belt that comes with the bag that will accommodate most people's waist line. The pocket on the back of the bag is large enough for car keys or something similar in size but will not fit a smart phone. I also noticed the bottom of the bag has a rubber coating over the material that will help it from soaking up water if you set it down. The inside of the bag has a fleece lining that will help to evenly chalk your hands when climbing, and the cinch fully closes so you will not have issues with chalk coating the inside of your climbing gear bag. I haven't taken it to the gym yet but being as it's the same as the smaller version we have it should function the same. I'm very happy with the purchase and cannot wait to try it. We are first year climbers that go around twice a week.

Its a great size, I use it for both bouldering and lead climbing and it works well for both. I like the little zip pocket it has useful for a brush or for storing small items you have on you like a ring. and it holds chalk so.. has everything I need.

Great size and comfortable. Wish it came with a carabiner in addition to the waist strap, but easy enough to put one on myself.

I like the pocket of the chalk bag, and the flat bottom design that lets it stand on the floor.

Perfect size for little 3.5 yrs olds.
