Wasn't sure what to expect because there wasn't much info online given its a bit newer, but this monitor is AWESOMEEEEEE. Took it on a trip to Japan and that is probably the best footage I've taken with my camera since I was able to use a LUT interface to see a better representation of my highlights and shadows.

I didn’t pay attention to the specifics I.e. in/outputs. I needed a SDImonitor for my pro Sony video rig.I decided to keep it due to how well it’s designed. I can use it for other rigs

in order to receive video signal, you cannot set your camera video output in 4K, because it does not take 4K signal. it does not show the percentage of the battery if you use battery as power supply. everything is fine.

First I must say I was surprised at the size. That is my fault for not thinking that through very well or getting out a measuring tape. But who would ever make a monitor this big for a field monitor? A 5 inch would be much more suitable.Ok, for the extra shopping frustration and expense. It DOES NOT come with a battery charge as advertised. If you are not a Sony camera user, you are going to need to order a charger. The supplied shoe adapter is made of cheap plastic that would easily snap with a monitor of this size and weight. It comes with a bunch of cables but no regular size HDMI to HDMI. If you don't already have a short full-size HDMI to HDMI and your camera's output is full-size HDMI, add that to your cart. My total extra cost to get this working on my Canon C200 was over $100! Consider that into your decision process. I think what bothers me more than the $100 is the hour it took to source all of the needed parts!. I usually invoice out at $250/hour. Who can I invoice for this total waste of time?Oh yes, be aware that this unit has a speaker on it that is going to feedback on you if you are close to the mic. The volume is only adjustable through a convoluted menu system. Spend some time with the unit before you take it out on a shoot.First look, the picture quality looks good. Not sure though how long the unit will last. Given all of the "Precaution" the manufacturer spells out in the instruction manual as to the delicacy of the unit, it doesn't inspire the greatest of confidence. Fortunately for me, I will probably only need to use it a couple of times a year on those rare occasions that I take my C200b out of the studio. If you are looking for a rugged unit for extensive field use, I would recommend that you keep shopping. I never seem to learn that "you get what you pay for". In this case, I even had to pay $100 more!
